VENICE

Venice isn’t just another pretty city—it’s a place that feels like it belongs in a dream. They call it La Serenissima, “the most serene,” and honestly, it lives up to the name. The canals are everywhere, winding through the city in place of roads, and it’s wild to think all this exists because people literally drained a lagoon centuries ago.
SEVILLE

Seville sits at the heart of Andalucia, and you can feel its personality the second you arrive. The old town is a maze of sunbaked streets, lined with Gothic, Baroque, and Moorish buildings that just ooze character. It’s one of those cities that grabs hold of you and doesn’t let go.
VALLETTA

Tiny Malta’s capital, Valletta, punches way above its weight. The city hugs one of Europe’s largest natural harbors, and its medieval old town looks almost untouched by time. You walk around and can’t help but feel the history in every stone.
DUBROVNIK

Dubrovnik has exploded in popularity lately, thanks to that famous turn on Game of Thrones, but it’s the actual old city—UNESCO-listed and all—that really steals the show. Walk the medieval walls or hop on the cable car up Mount Srd for incredible views over those terracotta rooftops. There’s nothing quite like it.
LECCE

Lecce gets called “the Florence of the South,” and you know what? It deserves the nickname. This baroque city in Puglia is stunning, but somehow, it’s managed to fly under the radar. Fewer crowds, slower pace, and plenty of time to soak up that sweet southern Italian life.
BARCELONA

Barcelona is instantly recognizable, mostly thanks to Gaudí’s wild, imaginative architecture. The Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà—these buildings look like something out of a fairytale. The city’s grid layout makes it easy to get lost in the best way.
MONTPELLIER

Montpellier might surprise you. They call it the “Paris of the South,” and once you see its wide boulevards and that mini Arc de Triomphe, you get why. It’s stylish without trying too hard, and for some reason, way too many people overlook it.
FLORENCE

Florence doesn’t do things by halves. This is the city of the Renaissance, packed with jaw-dropping art and architecture. The Duomo, with Brunelleschi’s tiled dome, towers over the city, while places like Palazzo Vecchio and Pitti Palace remind you why people travel from all over just to stand here. The Ponte Vecchio, with its shops crowding the bridge, is pure magic.
PALMA DE MALLORCA

Palma de Mallorca is the vibrant heart of its island. You see layers of Roman, Moorish, and Gothic history everywhere—look at Le Seu cathedral, Bellver Castle, or the Royal Palace of La Almudaina. The city buzzes with life but never loses that Mediterranean ease.
ISTANBUL

Istanbul is where continents meet, and you can feel the weight of history everywhere you go. This city was the core of both the Byzantine and Ottoman empires, and the list of must-see sites is endless: Agia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Galata Tower, Dolmabahce Palace, and the massive Grand Bazaar. There’s always another corner to explore.
