The Rialto Bridge is probably the most iconic crossing over the Grand Canal. It started out as a wooden bridge centuries ago, but after it collapsed in 1524, they rebuilt it in stone. The bridge we see today is that sturdy replacement, and it’s lined with shops selling everything from souvenirs to jewelry. If you’re in Venice, you can’t miss it.
